The aim of the conference is to present issues related to the issue of socio-vocational rehabilitation and activation of people with disabilities in the context of the 30th anniversary of the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People and the Strategy for Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030. It is also intended to exchange views on the economic, social and health effects of disability in the modern world and to propose solutions in the field of activation. In addition, the organizers' assumption is to increase social awareness in the area of ​​accessibility for people with special needs in relation to Polish and international solutions.

The subject of the conference covers the areas of economic, social and health effects of disability in terms of the 30-year operation of the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People. This is another conference organized jointly with Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People and John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. The conferences so far have been devoted to implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Invited foreign guests - from Australia, United States, India, China, Norway, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland - will present a wide spectrum of experience in the field of system solutions for supporting people with disabilities, from universal design to social security.Scientists and practitioners from Poland will look at the topic of social and vocational rehabilitation in the context of the challenges and opportunities it faces, and will also refer to the topic of accessibility in the context of various types of disability.The subject of the conference, due to its interdisciplinary nature, fits into the following fields of science and scientific disciplines: economics and finance, management and quality sciences, legal sciences, health sciences, medical sciences, culture and religion sciences, social sciences and humanities, architecture and urban planning, social communication and media studies. We invite representatives of the academic and medical community, as well as disabled persons, the community of non-governmental organizations working for the benefit of disabled persons, central, local and regional authorities, as well as representatives of business practice and the business community who deal with the issues of persons with disabilities in the modern world.

The languages ​​of the conference are Polish, English and sign language. 

The conference will be organized in a hybrid manner, i.e. via the Internet and stationary at the Knowledge Transfer Centre of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

Participation in the conference is free of charge. Participation is subject to registration.
The organisers stipulate that they do not cover travel or accommodation costs for conference participants.
