Gertruda Uścińska - professor habilitated doctor, president of the Social Insurance Institution, professor at the University of Warsaw and at the Institute of Labor and Social Affairs, chairwoman of the Committee of Labor Sciences and Social Policy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, member of the Social Affairs Council of the National Development Council under the President of the Republic of Poland, member of the Office managing director of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and chairman of the Technical Committee for Old Age, Invalidity and Host Death Insurance of that organization, expert in research programs of universities and research institutes of EU Member States (University of Antwerp, Ghent, Max Institute Planck and others) in connection with the implementation of EU programs (Consensus, Special, LAW, trESS, FreSsco, MoveS), manager and expert in Polish and international projects, author of many publications in the field of social policy, social security, social security, eu law.
