Prof. Dr. hab., head of the Department of Pedeutology and Health Education at the Institute of Pedagogy, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. His scientific output includes 25 original and co-authored monographs, over 250 dissertations and scientific articles, as well as numerous research reports, editorials, didactic studies in the form of educational concepts, plans and curricula, and practical projects to be used in special and health education, rehabilitation, social work, social pedagogy and pedeutology. In addition to his scientific and didactic work and social activities, he is involved in painting and poetry. He has taken part in several dozen individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He has published several volumes of poetry in the haiku convention.
